The 07U series rack and pinion actuator uses a double piston design to generate high torque while maintaining a small envelope. The actuators are available in double acting and spring return versions for both 90° and 180° actuation. A position indicator provides a visual guide to the unit's position and can be removed for manual override. The high cycle life and compact size combine to support the industry trends toward automation and downsizing.

Benefits

N/A Safety
Shaft position indicator:
  • shows position of actuator
  • Can be removed to allow manual override.
Fail-safe spring return option.

Compact
Double piston design reduces envelope. Patented spring return cartridge saves space. Single unit may be used to actuate one or two valves.

Reliable
Long cycle life. Acetal piston guides and rings reduce friction. Internally lubricated seals, bearings and guides require no further lubrication under normal conditions.

Durable
Anodized body and epoxy-coated end caps provide corrosion protection. Stainless steel brackets.

Powerful
Actuates larger, high pressure single and multiport valves (7115, 7165, 1200, 7644, 7670, 7900, 7B).

Versatile
90º and 180º operation. Double acting and spring return. Uses standard shop air.
Optional position monitor and solenoids:
  • allow electronic control,
  • are available in weather-proof and explosion-proof enclosures.
